Speech Therapy, Activities, Language
This low-prep activity is great for practicing prepositions, and features back to school concepts and subjects to celebrate the start of a new school year!
- This activity includes 10 various school related scenes. Each scene is divided into 4 sections that can be cut and used to practice prepositions.
- At the end of the activity, it also includes a list of prompts for you to use such as, “Point to the apple on the desk. Point to the apple next to the desk…”
How to Prepare and Use:
Print out each page to practice targeting expressive understanding and receptive use of prepositions. Laminate before cutting for more durability. To work on receptive understanding of prepositions (next to, in, on, under, between, in front of), have the client point to the correct picture after reading the sentences on the instruction sheet. To work on expressive understanding of prepositions (next to, in, on, under, between, in front of), point to the first picture on a page.
