Social Story: I Can Go to an Eye Doctor!

Description

Doing new things – especially going to a doctor – can be scary for all kiddos. Use this social story to help your kiddo understand and know what to expect when going to an eye doctor! This social story includes a total of 8 different versions, consisting of 4 different ethnicities for both girls and boy versions.

Some parts of the story:

1. Sometimes I have trouble seeing, so I go to the eye doctor to get my eyes checked. 
2. When I have to go to the eye doctor, I feel __.  (excited, scared, calm, confident, worried)
3. It’s okay to feel __, many people feel the same way!
4. When I go to the eye doctor, I will wait calmly until it’s my turn.
