Use this social story with your client or child to help them understand that their parent(s) is (are) going back to work. This was specifically created in response to the effects of COVID-19. Going from a child’s family being home every minute of every day to back at work full-time can be a disruptive change in routine. With explanations and images of what to expect and how he or she will be taken care of, this social story will help clients and family members alike to feel prepared and at ease.
This social story can be customized to fit the needs of each child by including or excluding certain pages depending on their needs and age.
